Abstract
We have developed a blockchain-based solution for repairing the agriculture and food supply chain, leveraging blockchain technology and smart contracts. This framework enhances traceability, trust, and distribution mechanisms, crucial for an effective Agri-Food supply chain. All transactions are recorded on the blockchain and data is stored using the Interplanetary File Storage System (IPFS), which generates a secure hash of the blockchain data. Our approach includes simulations of smart contracts and comprehensive security assessments. We conducted a survey to identify potential obstacles and benefits of blockchain applications, revealing key challenges in the supply chain and logistics industry that blockchain can address. The study underscores the need for a reliable system to replace traditional trust-based entities, such as government authorities. By demonstrating how blockchain can transform supply chain management, our thesis aims to facilitate collaboration between various businesses and blockchain developers. Ultimately, this work provides a roadmap for integrating blockchain technology into the supply chain and logistics sectors, highlighting its ability to enhance efficiency and reliability
