Abstract
Now a days there are various types of attacks are possible to reduce network performances. Due to less security feature, malicious activities may be occurs in network. In this paper, we discuss various possible attacks on authentication side of security and discuss different countermeasures for mitigating attacks. In this paper we provide security aspects on authentication from various attacks. Various authentication methods have also been suggested with their advantages and disadvantages for various attacks.
