The article covers various types of DDSs, including liposomes, nanoparticles, and microparticles, as well as their applications in cancer treatment, gene therapy, and immunotherapy. The article also highlights the challenges in developing DDSs, such as ensuring stability and controlling drug release, and discusses strategies to overcome these challenges. Overall, the article provides an overview of the state-of-the-art technologies in drug delivery and highlights the potential for DDSs to revolutionize the field of medicine.INTRODUCTIONDrug delivery systems (DDS) are designed to improve the safety and efficacy of therapeutic agents.
